Huntington's disease (HD) is an autosomal dominant genetic neurodegenerative disease. HD is characterized by a combination of motor, cognitive, psychiatric and behavioral symptoms. Social cognition skills disorders have also been reported in these patients, including in particular recognition disorders of emotional facial expressions and theory of mind (ToM).Emotional functions and regulations are currently poorly characterized in patients and in animal models of HD.
