The role of solar variability in climate evolution remains a topic of considerable scientific and societal importance. To understand the recent evolution of the past climate and to project oneself in the future need to be able to distinguish between the climatic variations of anthropic origin and the natural variations, in particular of solar origin. The overall scientific objective pursued in the context of my research is to improve our knowledge of the Sun (diameter and solar spectrum) and to better estimate the impact of solar forcing on climate. The implementation of scientific instruments and the use of data from different types of observation (ground, in situ, satellite) are the main tools used. The implemented approach relies on the development of scientific instruments and the exploitation of associated data. My main research interests are in high resolution solar astrometry and high resolution solar spectrum. For a long time, we wondered about a possible relationship between solar diameter, solar activity and climate. Today, the absolute value of the diameter of our star represents above all an interest in stellar astronomy. Knowing the solar diameter with the greatest accuracy is essential to know if our star is stable in time. Variations in solar diameter reflect processes that are still poorly understood and can be associated with the cycle of magnetic activity below the Sun’s surface. In addition, I am working on the long-term monitoring of the solar spectral irradiance variations. Accurate measurement of the solar spectrum at the top of the atmosphere and its variability over time are fundamental inputs for solar physics, terrestrial atmospheric photochemistry, and Earth’s climate. My research perspectives are on the influence of the Sun on the climate. I am interested in solar variability and its effect on the Earth’s climate at global and regional scale. Several mechanisms have been proposed to describe the influence of solar variability on the climate but their effectiveness is not clearly established. The idea is to better estimate the impact of solar forcing on climate. Indeed, I am interested in the measurement of the radiative budget of the Earth and its energy imbalance. The idea is to obtain information that can help to constrain poorly known radiative forcings (aerosols, interactions with aerosols, total solar irradiance, UV spectral irradiance, etc.) and to reveal the future direction of climate change. For this, I am working on the development of a small satellite dedicated to the measurement of the radiative budget of the Earth.Le rôle de la variabilité solaire sur le changement climatique reste un sujet d’intérêt scientifique et sociétal fort. Comprendre l’évolution récente du climat passé et se projeter dans l’avenir nécessitent d’être capable de faire la distinction entre les variations climatiques d’origine anthropique et les variations naturelles, notamment d’origine solaire. L’objectif scientifique global poursuivi dans le cadre de mes recherches est d’améliorer notre connaissance du Soleil (diamètre et spectre solaire) et de pouvoir mieux estimer l’impact du forçage solaire sur le climat. La mise en œuvre d’instruments scientifiques et l’utilisation de données de différents types d’observation (sol, in situ, satellitaire) représentent les principaux outils utilisés. L’approche que je poursuis s’ap- puie sur le développement d’instruments scientifiques et sur l’exploitation des données associées. Mes principaux intérêts de recherche concernent l’astrométrie solaire à haute résolution et le spectre solaire à haute résolution. Pendant longtemps, on s’est interrogé sur une éventuelle relation entre diamètre solaire, activité solaire et climat. Aujourd’hui, la valeur absolue du diamètre de notre astre représente surtout un intérêt en astrono- mie stellaire. Connaître le diamètre solaire avec la plus grande précision possible est indispensable pour savoir si notre étoile est stable dans le temps. Les variations du diamètre solaire reflètent des processus encore mal compris qui peuvent être associés au cycle de l’activité magnétique sous la surface du Soleil. Par ailleurs, je travaille sur le suivi à long terme des variations de l’éclairement solaire spectral. La mesure précise du spectre solaire hors atmosphère et de sa variabilité au cours du temps constituent des entrées fondamentales pour la physique solaire, la photochimie atmosphérique ter- restre, et le climat de la Terre. Mes perspectives de recherche portent sur l’influence du Soleil sur le climat. Je m’intéresse à la variabilité solaire et à son effet sur le cli- mat de la Terre à l’échelle globale et régionale. Plusieurs mécanismes ont été proposés pour décrire l’influence de la variabilité solaire sur le climat mais leur efficacité n’est pas clairement établie. L’idée est de pouvoir mieux estimer l’impact du forçage solaire sur le climat. Dès lors, je m’intéresse à la mesure du bilan radiatif de la Terre et à son déséquilibre énergétique pour essayer d’obtenir des informations qui peuvent permettre de contraindre les forçages radiatifs mal connus (aérosols, interactions avec les aérosols, éclairement solaire total et UV, etc.) et révéler surtout l’orientation future du change- ment climatique. Pour cela, je travaille sur le développement d’un petit satellite dédié à la mesure du bilan radiatif de la Terre
