La presente investigaci\uf3n tiene como objetivo principal evaluar el efecto de la fibra de acero en espec\uedmenes de concreto bajo resistencia a la compresi\uf3n. El ensayo de resistencia a la compresi\uf3n se determin\uf3 en tres grupos con tres probetas cada uno, un grupo control y dos experimentales con proporciones de 25 y 30 kg/m3 de fibra de acero. Los espec\uedmenes fueron sometidos a prueba de compresi\uf3n a la edad de 14 d\uedas. Los resultados mostraron que el grupo de mayor resistencia es aquel con proporci\uf3n 25 kg/m3 de fibra de acero con resistencia 212,39 kg/m2, superando al grupo control en 1,1%.
