The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between academic achievement and mathematics teaching anxiety levels and metacognitive awareness levels of the pre-service primary school teachers. For this purpose, the pre-service primary school teachers’ mathematics anxiety levels and their metacognitive awareness levels were determined and also whether this results differ various variables (such as gender, grade level) was investigated. The study group of the research composed of 241 students in 3rd and 4th grades of Pamukkale University Educational Faculty in the academic year 2014-2015.
