TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN KEUANGAN PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS EKONOMI DAN BISNIS UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG

This study aims to describe the financial knowledge level of the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The financial literacy aspects used in this study include aspects of general knowledge about finance, savings and loans, insurance, investment and pension funds. This research is a descriptive study based on a survey of research subjects. The subjects of this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The object of this study is the financial literacy of the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The population in the study amounted to 1,9399 people. The research sample was carried out by the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of financial literacy of the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang was 86.02%. If the percentage is interpreted into the criteria of financial knowledge according to Chen and Volpe, 86.02% are in the high category
