One of the media that can be developed to support mathematic learning activities is using comics as a learning media. In this research, comics with an Indonesian cultural background has been developed in the comparison material. This development research uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with a limited test of 10 students SMPN 1 Batu. The instruments used in this research are validation sheets, student response questionnaires, as well as the pretest and posttest. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it shows that mathematical comics are very valid with a validity value of 3.51 for material and 3.57 for media.
