The geography in the programmes documents for the exercise of the teaching in the elementary school.

The existing Geography knowledge in the study programme of the elementary school is the main focus of our research. In this work, we seek to analyse how the Geography subject contents are taught and organized through an analytical cutout that includes the study programme of the elementary school of the Municipal Secretary of Education and Sports of Pelotas City/RS and the study programme of the Pedagogy course of the Federal University of Pelotas.The official programmes documents (Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais and Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais) were investigated and it was possible to identify some gaps about their guidelines and orientations in the elementary school as much as in the courses of initial graduation in Pedagody. The inconsistencies that the professionals of this level of teaching denote when they come across the knowledge of Schoolar Geography in the elementary school justify the intention of this research which seeks to identify what is the existing Geography in the schools‟ daily basis that concern the study programmes in the elementary school. Therefore, the metodological proccess that defines this study is anchored in the qualitative perspective that describe matters such as the theoretical references and the contents earned in the semi-structered interviews taken with teachers of the community of the theme in study. In this phase of the work, it was possible to structure the sistematization of the contents about the answers collected in the interviews taken with the teachers in a way that it suggests an “Ideal Geography” that concerns one of the purposes of this study.This way, this idea of an geography for the elementary school is about the establishment of the otherness as a problematizing category that tangencies a better comprehension about the Geographic Science in the elementary school. This way, it is by putting us in the shoes of a Pedagody teacher that we can dialogue with wider efficiency about the importance of the Geography knowledge at schools, mainly with teachers os this level of teaching which has always been latent in the study programmes of the elementary school.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESO conhecimento geográfico existente nos currículos dos anos iniciais se apresenta como tema central da nossa pesquisa. No presente trabalho, buscamos analisar como os conteúdos geográficos são abordados e organizados nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, tendo como recorte analítico o currículo dos Anos Iniciais da Secretaria Municipal de Educação e Desporto da cidade de Pelotas/RS e o currículo do Curso de Pedagogia da Universidade Federal de Pelotas. No entanto, para o alcance dos objetivos também foi necessário investigar os documentos curriculares oficiais (Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais e Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais). Essa investigação identificou lacunas nas suas diretrizes e orientações para o componente curricular que trata a Geografia nos primeiros anos do EF, bem como, nas diretrizes que regem o currículo dos cursos de formação inicial em Pedagogia. Tais inconsistências observadas ao encontro das dificuldades que os profissionais desse nível de escolaridade denotam ao se depararem com os conhecimentos da geografia escolar dos anos iniciais justificam a intenção dessa pesquisa que objetiva identificar qual é a Geografia existente na rotina escolar dos urrículos dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental.Assim, o processo metodológico que caracteriza este estudo está ancorado na perspectiva qualitativa, que descreve desde os referenciais teóricos até o teor obtido nas entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com professores da comunidade de referência da temática evidenciada. Nesta etapa do trabalho, ainda foi possível estruturar uma sistematização dos conteúdos acerca das respostas coletadas na entrevista aplicada a esses professores, servindo como sugestão de práticas para as aulas de geografia que centra um dos propósitos desse estudo. Contanto, esta ideia de sugerir uma geografia a partir do olhar desses professores para os anos iniciais discorre do estabelecimento da alteridade como categoria problematizadora que tangencia uma melhor compreensão referente à ciência geográfica do referido nível de escolaridade. Isto é, nos colocando no lugar do professor pedagogo que conseguimos dialogar com maior eficácia a relevância dos conhecimentos geográficos na conjuntura escolar, sobretudo com professores deste nível de ensino, que, desde sempre, e de modo desarranjado, se faz latente nos currículos escolares da Educação Básica
