Endoscopic visualization does not necessarily correspond to an adequate working space. The need of balancing invasiveness and adequacy of sellar tumor exposure has recently led to the description of multiple endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal approaches. Comparative anatomical data on these variants are lacking
