A Revisit to Cloud Manufacturing

Since the concept of cloud manufacturing was proposed in 2010,relevant researches were ongoing for more than eight years,and much progresses were made.However,existing studies indicated that there lacked common understandings of a number of critical issues in cloud manufacturing among researchers.There still lacked clear and concrete ideas for implementation of cloud manufacturing.There were also a number of different definitions for cloud manufacturing.Motivated by this,the aforementioned issues were re-discussed and an alternative definition of cloud manufacturing was presented.Finally,some key issues of cloud manufacturing to be addressed in the future were put forward.QC 20190507
