© 2018 Proceedings - 39th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing: Remote Sensing Enabling Prosperity, ACRS 2018 This research was conducted to analyse and estimate the PGA (Peak Ground Acceleration) and seismic amplification of Odisha state in India by using earthquake events recorded by USGS (US geological survey) of the region from the year 1950 to 2015. The analysis also includes for an approximately a range of 300 km from every side of state. Many attempts have been proposed to investigate the PGA in this region during the last decades. Therefore, it was a requirement to implement various methods using some recent viewpoints and methodological approaches.
