As internationalisation efforts intensify in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, institutions of higher education are becoming more and more diverse. Increases in the number of international students on campus, however, does not automatically lead to meaningful intercultural engagement among students. After identifying some of the many elements that can hinder the development of constructive multicultural relationships, this presentation focuses on various ways that intercultural mentoring may be employed to foster global-mindedness, interculturality, and inclusivity.
