Remote Program Monitoring (RPM) is considered to have potential to improve the quality of life on patients diagnosed with cardiac conditions such as heart failure (HF) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Remote collection and analysis of patients data could aid in effective decision making on necessary care needed by patients monitored. This could lead to reduction on healthcare costs as well as improved outcomes for the patients.
