Performance impacts of Big Data Analytics

Big Data Analytics has been a ‘hot topic’ for industry and academic during the past few years. This paper examines what constitutes Big Data Analytics (BDA) and how it relates to organizational performance. It also investigates what other factors influence this relationship, whether BDA leads to more data-driven decision-making (DDDM) and whether the latter is really superior to less informed decision-making.
