This dissertation describes research on the development and evaluation of ‘Inlife’, an online platform for caregivers of people with dementia (www.myinlife.nl). The platform was developed in close consultation with the target group and ties in with their need for social support. Research into the effectiveness of this platform shows that Inlife facilitates the support for caregivers and people with dementia. In addition it increases the positive communication within the social network. The platform was recently implemented on www.dementie.nl Alzheimer Nederland and the Inlife website and app made available to caregivers in all of the Netherlands
