EnPerna e Cola is a multilingual religious comedy by an unknown author from Mesagne in the south of Puglia near Brindisi. Some characters speak Italian, two characters speak the local North-Salentino dialect, a character speaks the Neapolitan dialect. Up to now, this comedy was not held in great consideration because only twentieth century's copies were known and it was not known when it was composed. A new manuscript, found by Enzo Poci, written before 1875, which differs from the other manuscripts in many points, has an information that let us date this comedy between 1810 and 1817.
