In this article, we consider a generalized inverted Rayleigh distribution.The maximum likelihood estimators (MLEs) of scale and shape parametersare obtained. Also, we compute MLE of reliability function. Asymptoticcondence interval for the parameters and reliability function is constructed.Simulation study is conducted to investigate performance of MLEs and con- dence intervals. An illustration with real data is provided
