The article contains an edition with commentary of an ostrakon figurated found recently by the Archaeological Mission of Centro di Studi Papirologici of Università del Salento at Soknopaiou Nesos/Dime (Fayyum, Egypt). On the ostrakon is drawn the staurogramm. The ostrakon opens up new prospects on the possible presence of Christian people in this ancient Egyptian village
