In this paper, the contexts and transcriptions of rhythms present in the surviving texts of ancient Greek dramaturgy are studied from continuous references to works by Aeschylus. The correlation between text, rhythm and performance is made explicit by means of an updated bibliography combining Classics and Performing Studies.
