A redução de áreas florestais numa região triticola do Rio Grande do Sul

In this study, it was realized the photointerpretation of arboreous and shrubby vegetal formations in some parts of areas of the municipalities of Cruz Alta, Pejuçara, Ijuí, Tupanciretã, Augusto Pestana and Júlio de Castilhos, contained between the 53 ° 30 'and 54 ° 00 ' West Longitude coordinates and the South Latitude 28 ° 30' and 28 ° 57 ' concerning the years 1964 and 1974, with objective of checking the intensity of deflorestation in that region.From the information obtained from from vertical aerophotography interpretation, and orbital images calculations were made to determine the intensity of arboreous and shrubby reduction occured in a period of ten years.Neste estudo, foi realizada a foto-interpretação das formações vegetais arbóreas e arbustivas em partes das áreas dos municípios de Cruz Alta, Pejuçara, Ijuí, Tupanciretã, Augusto Pestana e Júlio de Castilhos, compreendidas entre as coordenadas de 53°30' e 54°00' de Longitude Oeste e 28°30' e 28°57' de Latitude Sul, referente aos anos de 1964 e 1974, com a finalidade de verificar a intensidade do desmatamento naquela região. A partir dos dados da interpretação de aerofotos verticais e imagens orbitais, foram realizados cálculos visando determinar a intensidade da redução arbórea e arbustiva ocorrida num período de dez anos.
