DINÂMICA ESPACIAL DE USO E OCUPAÇÃO DO SOLO NO MUNICÍPIO DE UNISTALDA-RS, NOS ANOS DE 1995, 2000 E 2010

In the last decades, a disorganized process of land occupationhas been observed, due mainly to urban growth and population density. In this sense, studies that aim to understand the dynamics of these occupations in different areas, so that planning policies are effective, are imperative. Given this, the present study has as objective to analyze the temporal dynamics of land use and occupation in the city of Unistalda – RS, since its independence in 1995. Thematic maps of the years 1995, 2000 and 2010 were made from the satellite Landsat 5’s images. For the accomplishment of this work, images were downloaded and imported. From that, georeferencing has been done, as well as the digital processing, the recognition of use patterns and then the supervised digital classification. The mappings allow the verificationof the landscape alterations in the periodstudied. Forest, field and bare ground classes varied in a non-linear way,whileagriculture and forestry classes showed a growing pattern since 1995.Nas últimas décadas, em consequência, principalmente do crescimento urbano e adensamento populacional observa-se um processo desordenado da ocupação do solo. Nesse sentido, são indispensáveis estudos que vislumbrem entender a dinâmica dessas ocupações em diferentes áreas para que políticas de planejamento sejam eficazes. Diante disso, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a dinâmica temporal do uso e ocupação do solo no município de Unistalda – RS, desde a sua emancipação, em 1995. Mapas temáticos dos anos 1995, 2000 e 2010 foram elaborados a partir de imagens do satélite Landsat 5. Para a realização do trabalho foi realizado download e a importação das imagens. A patir disso, sucedeu o georreferenciamento, o processamento digital, o reconhecimento de padrões de uso e então a classificação digital supervisionada. Os mapeamentos permitem verificar as alterações da paisagem no período estudado. Enquanto as classes floresta, campo e solo exposto variaram de forma não linear, as classes agricultura e silvicultura apresentaram um comportamento crescente desde 1995
