The present research work resumes the propositional character of Didactics as one of the topics of concern that are being dealt with by General Didactics nowadays. Our aim is to reaffirm Didactics commitment to teaching and learning practices in a time when distrust of teacher training professionals, schools and institutions is common. This topic implies an up-to-date debate about the relationship between knowledge and action, placing teaching knowledge as a potentially articulating construct.
