Dance is one of the most traditional socio-cultural manifestations present in the communities from the earliest days of humanity to the present days. Nonetheless, in the context of the education system, it faces many challenges in the scope of teaching and the student learning process. Thus, in the present action-research, with a group of Physical Education, Art and Pedagogy teachers, the aim was to analyze the confrontations and the barriers to overcome, detecting what is decisive in the teaching and learning process of teaching dance for school students.
