Gimnasia en la escuela. ¿Gimnasia en la escuela?

The following work was presented as a result of a thesis workshop. It was a compulsory course of the master\u27s programme in Corporal Education (FHCE - UNLP). This text is structured in such a way that it reflects the structure of the project. It contributes to the design of the thesis and to its development. The Thesis is about the impact of training college learning of gymnastics on formal education. A particular type of gymnastics has being taught for more than twenty years in the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of La Plata ( FHCE - UNLP).The aim of the research is to determine the significance of this type of gymnastics beyond the academic field. Our initial hypothesis is that gymnastics\u27 contents do not provide a valuable contribution in the classes of Physical Education at schools. The purpose of this work is to understand, if the hypothesis is corroborated, these processes in which gymnastics activities are not included at schools, or when they are; they are scarce and generally are not perceived with the significance they have. By means of a qualitative approach it is tried to investigate the actors and the institutions involved during this processEl presente trabajo fue presentado como resultado del Taller de Tesis, asignatura obligatoria en la maestrí­a de posgrado en Educación Corporal de la Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (FHCE - UNLP). El texto está diagramado de forma tal que se perciba la estructura del proyecto. Constituye un avance en el diseño y elaboración de la tesis que aborda el impacto que tiene la formación profesional de la enseñanza de la gimnasia en la educación formal. Hace más de 20 años que un determinado tipo de gimnasia se enseña en el Profesorado en Educación Fí­sica (PEF) (FHCE - UNLP), las indagaciones se orientan a poder determinar la trascendencia de este tipo de gimnasia más allá del ámbito académico. Se parte del supuesto de que la gimnasia no es un contenido sustancial en las clases de Educación Fí­sica en las escuelas. La investigación se sustenta en la inquietud de poder comprender, de confirmarse los supuestos, la poca incidencia de las actividades gí­mnicas que se observan en las clases de Educación Fí­sica o en todo caso, cuando estas actividades aparecen, generalmente, no son significadas como tales.
