The present paper discusses the adoption identifiers of information needs of users as a stage of information management. The interdisciplinarity between the areas of Administration and Information Science occurs in an effective and wide manner, once many concepts, principles and methodologies used by both areas are merged in a link of integrative type with information management. From that, it can be deduced that information is a common element for the construction of this interdisciplinary corpus, as well as it is a product amenable of management.
