Sucessão geracional na agricultura familiar: lições apreendidas em duas comunidades rurais

The new pattern of modernization of agriculture and rural, in force in most rural areas of Brazil, is also present in the Southwest of Paraná. Thus, considering the marks left by this process, this research tried to see what were the factors that interfere in generational succession and began to influence the family farm\u27s social reproduction strategy. For that, from a qualitative approach, this study sought to compare two rural communities by establishing 25 interviews each and two focus group sessions. The results of this study, it was noticed that the factors that favor the permanence of young people in rural areas were mainly: income, living in society and the inclusion of life projects of the children in the family\u27s social reproduction strategies. O novo padrão de modernização da agricultura e do rural, que vigora na maior parte das regiões rurais do Brasil, também se faz presente no Sudoeste do Paraná. Assim, considerando as marcas deixadas por esse processo, procurou-se verificar quais foram os fatores que interferiram na sucessão geracional e passaram a influenciar a estratégia de reprodução social da agricultura familiar. Para tanto, a partir de uma abordagem qualitativa, esta pesquisa procurou comparar duas comunidades rurais estabelecendo 25 entrevistas cada e duas sessões de grupo focal. Dos resultados deste estudo, percebeu-se que os fatores que favorecem a permanência dos jovens no meio rural foram, principalmente: a renda, a convivência na comunidade e a inclusão dos projetos de vida dos filhos nas estratégias de reprodução social da famí­lia
