KERAGAMAN RUMPUT LAUT YANG BERNILAI EKONOMI DI PULAU PARI KEPULAUAN SERIBU

This study is aimed ot determining the diversity of seaweeds that can be utilized, deposits economic value and that cannot yet be exploited by the people of the islond of Pan. Observations were carried out to obtain data of the seaweed distribution using the line-transect method. The transect data was collected from the shoreline toward the edge in the distance interval of 50 meters. Data analysis was carried out in the tabulation, the number of individuals, the distribution, density and frequency. The research revealed 22 species of seaweed, that can be exploited, among of which only 8 species of seaweed ha ve economic values. Of the eight species of seaweed that can be utilized, Gracilaria is the one cultiuated by the people
