The purpose of this study was to explore whether narrative therapy techniques helped to foster self-efficacy in the context of parent education. In particular this researcher was interested in whether utilizing a narrative approach while facilitating a parent education class would result in parents feeling more confident in their abilities as parents then in a parent education class utilizing a different pedagogy.
