This report, published by National Academies (U.S.), reviews barriers that students face when completing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) degrees. Also discussed are opportunities for development that are intended to aid degree completion in these fields for diverse students. Minority and underrepresented groups face unique issues when pursuing and finishing STEM degrees, and this report suggests improvements to educational policy and also lists programs, institutions, and projects as resources.&nbsp
