Business and Industry Leadership Team "Group Letter"

This 3-page letter of support was collectively signed by eleven members of the National Convergence Technology Center's (CTC) Business and Industry Leadership Team (BILT). The letter affirms the group's belief in the value of the "BILT model" that puts business and industry in a co-leadership role with educational programs in order to ensure that curriculum aligns with the real-world needs of the technical workforce. The letter was intended to help educators persuade colleagues that might be reluctant to embrace the BILT model. The National CTC's BILT focuses on IT networking and infrastructure but the BILT model approach can work with any discipline.Â
