In this exercise from ATEEC, students will complete a critical thinking activity on social injustice human health risks and waste recycling. Students will take on the role of the mayor, a presenter from a company that engineers and installs landfill gas-to-energy technology, and community representatives to study the "pro's and con's of commonly used waste maangement technologies and practices." "Talking points" are included for seven different roles in this activity along with instructions for both teacher and student preparation
