This document from the GeoTech Center provides a report on the Geospatial Environmental Project. The project, which was done at the Collegiate High School at Northwest Florida State College, aimed to "increase the number of high school students who will major in engineering, science, and/or mathematics at the high school and college/university levels." This document includes an overview and summary of the pilot project and the objectives of the program, including a description of the GPS and GIS mapping portion of the project. Suggested resources for local support for educators looking to implement a similar program are also included. This document is freely available for download in PDF file format
