Soal Ujian Bahasa Arab dengan Teks Braille: Studi di Pusat Pengembangan Bahasa UIN Sunan Kalijaga

This study conducted from a Research and Development (R&D) method developed by Borg and Gall. The step of this research is started by identifying the research problem, then followed by gathering the information/data, design validation, trial of the product, revision of the product, trial of the usage, revision of the product, and mass production. Methods of collecting data used are interview, observation, and testing. Descriptive qualitative model by Miles and Huberman is used as a method of data analysis. The result shows that the Braille questionnaire for final examination (UAS) is accessible for the student with visual disabilities because of the clarity and neat presentation of the product. Therefore, students with visual disabilities support the development of the Braille model questionnaire because they can do the examination comfortably and independently. [Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang berdasar pada model Borg and Gall yakni research and development (R&D) dengan prosedur penelitian dimulai dari potensi dan masalah, mengumpulkan informasi/data, validasi desain, perbaikan desain, ujicoba produk, revisi produk, ujicoba pemakaian, revisi produk, pembuatan produk masal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi/ pengamatan, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soal UAS Braille ini mudah digunakan dalam arti aksesibel digunakan mahasiswa tunanetra karena tulisan memang jelas dan rapi. Selain itu mahasiswa tunanetra sangat mendukung keberadaan model soal seperti ini karena hal ini akan membuat mereka mengerjakan soal dengan nyaman dan mandiri.
