Rev. J. T. O\u27Callahan, Hero-Priest, Is Dead

Obituary of Rev. Joseph T. O\u27Callahan (May 15, 1905-March 18, 1964), a Jesuit priest who served as a chaplain in the United States Navy and as a professor at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Fr. O\u27Callahan was the first military chaplain to be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. He died in Worcester and was buried in the Jesuit cemetery on the Holy Cross campus
