This chapter from the Materials Science and Technology Teacher's Handbook provides experiments and demonstrations that can be used in a materials science and technology curriculum. These experiments are "designed to grab studentsâ attention, pull their minds from predictable everyday classroom activities, give them something to look forward to, and teach them some simple principles and properties used by materials scientists."
