Course Description:This course is provided by the Northwest Center for Sustainable Resources and introduces students to aquatic field and laboratory methods. Students record data and observations field notebooks and journals. Laboratory activities include using laboratory balances, calibration and use of meters, and measuring dissolved oxygen, fecal coliform, biological oxygen demand, pH, turbidity, and other chemical and biological indicators in streams and water bodies.
