Comparative Analysis Financial Performance Between Islamic Banks and Conventional Banks Using CAMEL Ratio Listed In Indonesia Stock Exchange

To assess the financial performance of banks generally use 5 aspects that are CAMEL ratio. Researcher using CAMEL ratio as a factor to determining the health of predicate / performance of a bank. Aspects are interrelated to each other and inseparable. CAMEL ratio include Capital, Asset, Management, Earning and Liquidity. Four of the five aspects of each Capital, Assets, Earnings and Liquidity assessed using financial ratios. This suggests that the financial ratios is useful in assessing the financial condition of the banking company. Reseach of financial ratios to assess performance and testing the strength of the relationship with the financial ratios and financial performance of banks according to the observations of researcher rarely done. It is based on several reasons, among others, financial company of banking slightly different with financial ratios of other similar companies. Febrianti and Zulfadin has conducted research on the financial performance of banks, i.e. the analysis on comparison of the level of efficiency in the banking industry was done conducting empirical testing of the level of efficiency between government banks, private banks, foreign as well as national and private banks, the results of their research that showed no significant differences between the performance of Foreign Exchange Bank and Non-Bank Foreign Exchange, if viewing from a variable Return on Equity and Return on Assets.
