Until recently, the abuse of prescription drugs has been a relatively unaddressed issue in regards to its existence on college campuses. Due to an ever increasing rate of abuse however, researchers have begun to shift their attention to this seemingly dark figure in the study of drug abuse. However, the majority of research leaves out a major factor in this, which is the culture behind it.
