Research on "Prediction of erosion potential at sub - sub- watershed Sikabugadang District of Padang Kuranji" was conducted from June to October 2013 with the aim to predict soil erosion and to map erosion potential, as well as to determine the rate of erosion that can be tolerated in various land units. The experiment was conducted with a survey method. Results showed that there are mild levels of erosion such as, at paddy field (III Sw C), secondary forest (I Hs D), primary forest (I Hp E) and (I Hp D) with an area of 781.5 hectares or 54.1 % of the total area.
