PENGARUH SELF-EFFICACY DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA PENERIMA BEASISWA BIDIKMISI (STUDI DI FAKULTAS PETERNAKAN UNIVERSITAS ANDALAS)

Bidikmisi scholarships is given to outstanding students who are not well off financially. Students are expected to get the greats academic achievement Bidikmisi as well as the standardized by Dikti. In fact, there are Bidikmisi scholarship students who have an average GPA of less than standardized . This research aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy and social support on academic achievement of the students who have given a Bidikmisi scholarships in faculty of Animal Husbandry in Andalas University. The study used self-efficacy scale by Pipin (2011) and Interpersonal Support Evaluastion List (ISEL) by Sari (2010). The sample used in the research amounted to 170 people and the sampling method was stratified propotioned sampling. The analysis used the multiple linear regression, that are the independent variable refers to self-efficacy and social support and the dependent variable refers to academic achievement. Based on the analysis results, it is obtained that the variable self-efficacy and social support had a positive and significant to the students who have given a Bidikmisi scholarships. This is proved by the coefficient of determination academic achievement which is shown by adjusted R Square is 0,877 that means the students’s academic achievement is 87,7% affected by variable Self-efficacy and Social support, whereas, the rest of the 12,3% is affected because other variables were not checked thoroughly in this research.
