The novel presents Afghan society which can be classified into social groups and social classes. The social groups consist of Taliban and educated group while the lower and upper class belong to the social classes. Furthermore, the novel also contains several ideologies that influence the social group and social class perspective. The existence of the different ideologies makes one of ideologies becomes superior and other inferiors. The superior ideology dominates and it is stronger than other ideologies.
