Robert Garnett was interviewed on October 25, 2011 by Sarah Hayes about his early life, NROTC & college life at Darmouth, and serving in the Navy for four years. He switched from history to English for graduate school, spent a year at Oxford for a Fulbright Scholarship, and came to Gettysburg College to teach English.
