Knowledge Organization is connected with the tasks of classifying, indexing and representing a registered and socialized knowledge. It is, therefore, a threedimensional science, seeing that it is occupied with the principles, methods and instruments used for the management of human knowledge from a triple perspective: its representation, its organization and its documental communication. Thus, when approaching the Knowledge Organization subject, there is no chance to dispense the Terminology, as this one permeates the whole process of the other. In this way, the aim is to analyze the use of Terminology for the identification and representation of concepts from the categories (classes) of documentary languages (alphabetical and hierarchic). ...
