Epilepsy is the most common chronic brain disorder. The incidence of epilepsy is still high in the world including in Padang, West Sumatra. One of the risk factors of epilepsy is febrile seizure. The objective of this study was to assess the association between epilepsy and history of febrile seizures. This study was an observational analytic with cross-sectional design conducted at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang from January – March 2015. The populations were all patients with epilepsy who have visited Neurological Polyclinic during January 2013 - December 2013. This study used total sampling with 56 patients as research subjects.
