Abstrak Studi ini fokus pada prespektif guru yang mengajar teks deskriptif menggunakan tahapan Peer Assessment. Ada empat tahap, yaitu kriteria guru, desain kelas dalam penilaian sejawat, manajemen guru di kelas, evaluasi guru terhadap teks yang ditulis oleh siswa. Tahapan-tahapan itu harus diikuti dengan tertib jika guru ingin memberikan hasil terbaik untuk pengajarannya. Guru melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah guru mengikuti langkah-langkah penilaian teman sebaya atau tidak. Peneliti merancang penelitian ini secara kualitatif karena ada pengamatan.
