This paper deals with Mixed LogicalDynamical (MLD) approach. It allows to model the hybridsystems involved continuous, discrete dynamics andconstraints. The changes or the switches which may appearover such dynamics are modeled by using the auxiliaryvariables take into account the interconnections. Theapplicability of this approach is illustrated by the modellingof the two tank system.The resultant system is well-posed for Model PredictiveControl (MPC) that is used as control strategy for the system.The MPC needs to solve an optimization problem, includinglogic constraints.
