Nueva Iglesia en Klosters – Suiza

The main premisses which have guided the architect in this design have been the projection of the architectural concept towards the future and the nature and primitive concept of Christ's Church; simple in form, expressive and clear in the outline of its message. The church interior, following the recent Vatican Council, separates clearly two zones: the main nave, devoted to the assembly of the faithful; and the chapel, a place of inner concentration. The dynamic and rhythmic shape seeks to convince us that the congregation advances «with happiness and enthusiasm towards the future».Proyección de la obra arquitectónica hacia el futuro y fidelidad a la naturaleza y al concepto de la primitiva Iglesia de Cristo —sencilla en su forma, expresiva y clara en sus líneas y mensaje— han sido las premisas que guiaron al arquitecto en el diseño de esta iglesia. Su interior, acorde con las conclusiones del Concilio, presenta netamente diferenciadas dos zonas: la nave principal, dedicada a asamblea de los fieles; y la capilla, destinada a zona de recogimiento de aquéllos. Su forma dinámica y airosa intenta convencernos de que la comunidad «va animada y alegre hacia el mañana»
