In this report, we establish the methods of estimating the void fraction of gas-liquid two-phase flows. In the first plase, we comment on Levy\u27s momentum exchange model and Bankoff\u27s model, and specially, point out that Levy\u27s theory has a logical error §2. Next, we develop a general method of establishing the models of two-phase flows, and build up a number of new models; the mixed flow model §5,the annular model §6.1,and the raindrop model §6.3. Lastly, we compare these models with experimental data, and find out that one of the mixed flow models is fitted to the slug flow, the annular model is to the annular flow and the raindrop model is to the floth flow.
