We have experimentally evaluated the application of a plasma discharge systems to reduce the concentrations of environmental pollutants such as NO_x, SO_x, dust particles and CFCs in the gaseous material. This paper considers CFCs decomposition by arc plasma, NO_x removal by NH_3 and H_2 radicals from mixing plasma, NO_x removal by N_2 corona discharge and NO_x, smoke removal by corona discharge reactor. In addition, the prototype reactors which reduce pollution concentrations are proposed in this study.
