This project has been built in accordance with the winning design of a competition for this purpose. The building has two storeys. The bottom one houses a large changing room, and the swimming pool hall itself. The main swimming pool is 15x15 ms in size, and there is an additional pool, of 8x20 for learners. The second floor is occupied with the Sauna Bath installations, for ladies and for gentlemen, and the private baths. A special feature of this building is the arrangement of the changing rooms, and the flexibility which they provide for increasing the number of lockers and cubicles in whichever section they are most necessary: the men's or the ladies' section. The structure covering the swimming pool consists of four large frames of prestressed concrete, of 50 ms span, which run over the roof, which they support. The side enclosure is made up of vibrated cement framework and glazing. The ventilation is mechanical.
