The reason for writing this capstone is to share information gathered from middle level students that have difficulties learning in a traditional classroom. The main idea of this capstone is to demonstrate learning in the outdoors increases motivation and enthusiasm of low performance students. The focus of writing this paper explains that the amount of time that children spend in the outdoors has decreased in just a few years. Less amount of time spent in the outdoors has created a generation of individuals that have become less knowledgeable of the environment and the importance of nature\u27s offerings.
